Immigrate to Canada

BC PNP Entrepreneur Program

Immigration Consultant in Vancouver, BC

Immigrating to Canada is not only for skilled workers but also for entrepreneurs. Attracting individuals that have the skills and resources to create more jobs in Canada is an important priority of the government. Thus, the British Columbia Entrepreneur Program was designed to attract immigrants with a strong entrepreneur background and solid business experience.

If you want to immigrate to BC and are ready to invest in and actively manage a valid business, you may qualify for either the Entrepreneur Immigration - Base Category or the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot (EI – Regional Pilot). Both of these pathways will allow you to bring your family with you and leads to permanent residency within two to three years from starting the business.

Entrepreneur Immigration - Base Category

To qualify, you must:

have a personal net worth of at least $600,000 CAD

demonstrate business and/or management experience

establish an eligible new business or purchase and improve an existing business

business can be anywhere in British Columbia

make an eligible personal investment of at least $200,000 CAD in the business

have, or be eligible for, legal immigration status in Canada

BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot (EI – Regional Pilot)

The BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot (EI – Regional Pilot) is focused on attracting entrepreneurs from around the world to establish businesses in regional communities. This will help meet the communities’ economic development needs and encourage investments outside urban areas. To reflect the lower costs of starting a business and settling in regional communities with smaller populations, the personal net worth and investment criteria is lower than the existing Entrepreneur Immigration – Base Category (EI – Base Category).

To qualify, you must:

demonstrate business and/or management experience

business can only be in participating communities
